Florence Knoll: Defining Modern at Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art

Florence Knoll: Defining Modern (May 9 through June 29), a national traveling exhibition, explores Florence Knoll’s contribution to modern design, represented by her iconic furniture and photographs of her prestigious projects. In its unique incarnation at Kirkland Museum, the exhibition will be augmented with pivotal works by many of her contemporaries, such as Mies van der Rohe, Marcel Breuer, Eero Saarinen and Harry Bertoia.

Kirkland Museum displays a nationally important collection of decorative art from 1875 to 1980, and has over 600 works of 20th-century Colorado artists on view.
