Where to Find It

The triangle made up by Lincoln, Speer, and Colfax and the museums along 13th Avenue, directly south of downtown Denver. (Some parts of the Golden Triangle overlap with Capitol Hill neighborhood).

Getting There

From anywhere in downtown, hop on the free 16th Street shuttle and take it to the end of the line at Civic Center Park. The Museum District starts on the opposite side of the park.

Locals Know

Many of the museums offer free days each month (check individual listings for details, as well as the Scientific & Cultural District's website for regular free days). Many world-renowned architects contributed to buildings in the area, including Michael Graves, Gio Ponti, I.M. Pei, and Daniel Libeskind.

Special Events

On the First Friday of every month, the galleries stay open late and the “Art Bus,” a free bus service, shuttles browsers from gallery to gallery.
